Del Rio Sector Agents Arrest Two Convicted Sex Offenders

Del Rio, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to Del Rio Sector arrested two convicted sex offenders shortly after they illegally entered the United States, Dec. 21.

Eagle Pass Station agents arrested a man from Honduras. Record checks revealed that, in 2018, he was convicted of sexual assault of a child and sentenced to four years confinement. The man was most recently removed from the United States in 2020.

Brackettville Station agents arrested a Mexican national who had a previous criminal conviction for lewd or lascivious acts with a minor child under 14, in 1999. The man was sentenced to six years confinement, and most recently removed from the United States in 2019.
