Campaign 2024 has officially begun as Trump and Biden trade jabs

Charlotte, NC — Make no mistake, the campaign for the presidency began on January 6, 2022.

Democrats held events to try and own the narrative surrounding the events of January 6, 2021. They marked the event with a prayer vigil, various interviews and capped the event with remarks by President Joe Biden.

Biden used the opportunity to attack Donald Trump for the “big lie” as he calls it. In his remarks, Biden said, “For the first time in our history, a president not just lost an election, he tried to prevent the peaceful transfer of power as a violent mob breached the Capitol.” Biden held the Democrat's narrative by saying “democracy prevailed.”

That has been the central theme used by Speaker Nancy Pelosi as she and the mainstream media coordinated their plans to distribute propaganda to Americans. The theme has been democracy was attacked but survived Donald Trump.

As a reminder, Donald Trump asked those creating issues at the Capitol to stop. He said that violence was not the answer, but that was not enough to satisfy those who hated him.

Donald Trump wasted no time in responding to Biden’s comments. He issued a statement that said, “Biden, who is destroying our Nation with insane policies of open Borders, corrupt Elections, disastrous energy policies, unconstitutional mandates, and devastating school closures, used my name today to try to further divide America. This political theater is all just a distraction for the fact Biden has completely and totally failed.”

He ended his comments by saying, “The Democrats want to own this day of January 6th so they can stoke fears and divide America. I say, let them have it because America sees through their lies and polarizations.” It is true, Americans see through the lies and are fed up with the failures of Biden and the Democrats.

While Biden has clearly said he is running for reelection, Donald Trump has stopped short and has only teased such a run. If today’s comments are any indication, the campaign for election has just begun.
